Learning content

In this course you will acquire knowledge and practical skills in two core areas:

Design Thinking Basics

  • The phases of the Design Thinking process (Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Evaluate)
  • Important methods and tools for each phase
  • User-centered thinking and empathetic approaches

Professional moderation training

  • Role and attitude of the facilitator in the Design Thinking process
  • Structuring and scheduling workshops
  • Methods for activating and involving participants
  • Visual communication and documentation of workshop results
  • Practical exercises for moderating real workshop scenarios

Format

The two-day course is practice-oriented, with the topics of Design Thinking and moderation being continuously combined. You will strengthen your understanding of the fundamentals of Design Thinking by applying the core principles in practical scenarios.

At the same time, the focus is on developing your facilitation skills. Using specific workshop scenarios, you will practise various facilitation techniques, receive direct feedback and develop strategies for successful workshop facilitation. You will not only learn how to implement Design Thinking, but also how to communicate it confidently and guide others in the process.

This training course is aimed at specialists and managers, project executives, innovation officers, consultants and anyone who wants to introduce, apply and effectively moderate Design Thinking methods in their working environment.

No previous knowledge of Design Thinking methods is required.
